Insiyah Darugar

Insiyah Darugar, MSN, FNP is the founder and CEO of Glow Theory Aesthetic & Dermatology Studio in Carlsbad, California. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience in dermatology and aesthetics, she leads a studio where cosmetic treatments and medical dermatology are practiced side by side.

Dermatology training

Insiyah completed the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Fellowship at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, a program affiliated with the Harvard Dermatology Residency Program and widely regarded as the most prestigious dermatology fellowship for nurse practitioners in the nation. During her training she attended dermatology grand rounds and monthly lectures at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine.

Clinical experience

Before founding Glow Theory, Insiyah worked at several Harvard teaching hospitals in Boston and in busy dermatology practices, with a clinical focus on skin cancer and autoimmune skin disease.

Founding Glow Theory

Insiyah opened Glow Theory in Carlsbad in November 2021 to bring evidence-based aesthetic treatment and clinical dermatology together in one studio. Glow Theory has since been voted Best of North County and was nominated for Innovator of the Year by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.

Outside the studio

Active and adventurous, Insiyah enjoys traveling, staying active and spending time with her family. She has traveled to more than 30 countries and has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
